Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit therapeutic center that uses horses & other animals as a medium to promote health, wellness, physical, emotional & behavioral therapy to participants and to raise awareness of the therapeutic benefits of animals. We've made our home here at Ivy Rock Farms.

Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center uses animals in “mounted” (riding) and “unmounted” (ground) activities to serve individuals of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds who seek therapy for a number of reasons, including but not limited to:
physical therapy
emotional therapy
depression or bipolar disorder

Balanced Rock Therapeutic Center focuses on individuals seeking proven therapy alternatives to drugs/medications, therapists, counselors, psychologists, or doctors and individuals who wish to fulfill general health and wellness in a fun, new way. Programs and lessons will include (depending on diagnosis and need of participant):

· Stretching, physical exercise and strengthening
· Sensory stimulation
· Calming & De-stimulating activities
· Activities to build trust and communication
· Team building exercises
· Exercises developing emotional control and improving conduct issues
· Empowerment and inner strength and fulfillment activities
· Focus based exercises
We will be forming a Youth Volunteer Group. Looking for high school age teens with a passion for animals and helping others.
